Now Accepting Clients for Sexual Intimacy Coaching and Marriage and Sex Therapy
Overview
I now have greater availability for sexual intimacy coaching through the Apostolate for Marital Intimacy and marriage and sex therapy through Archangel Catholic. Coaching focuses on specific sexual difficulties, while therapy addresses the relationship alongside those concerns and their effects. Therapy is available through telehealth in Washington, Colorado, and Idaho; please request James Walther when contacting Archangel Catholic. I currently have openings for sexual intimacy coaching through the Apostolate for Marital Intimacy and marriage and sex therapy through Archangel Catholic.
Both services support greater intimacy within an approach consistent with Catholic teaching. However, they differ in focus, and some concerns fit better within one service’s scope than the other.
Sexual Intimacy Coaching Through AMI
Through the Apostolate for Marital Intimacy (AMI), my coaching focuses on overcoming specific sexual difficulties through education, practical strategies, and guided exercises.
Common concerns include:
Vaginismus and difficulties with penetration.
Painful intercourse (dyspareunia).
Erectile dysfunction (ED).
Premature ejaculation (PE).
Delayed ejaculation (DE).
Problematic sexual behaviors involving pornography and masturbation.
Coaching offers focused support for understanding these difficulties and working toward specific changes in your intimate life. When appropriate, that work can complement medical care.

Marriage and Sex Therapy Through Archangel Catholic
Through Archangel Catholic, my therapy work addresses the relationship itself, including the ways sexual concerns affect connection, trust, and communication.
For example, a sexual difficulty may become intertwined with recurring conflict, avoidance, resentment, or emotional distance. Therapy provides space to address these patterns alongside the sexual concern.
I also work with couples rebuilding intimacy after infidelity or navigating broader marital difficulties. Together, we explore how each spouse experiences the relationship and identify practical steps toward greater connection.
As a marriage and family therapy intern, I provide therapy under supervision while completing my second master’s degree through Capella University.
Therapy appointments take place through telehealth for clients in Washington, Colorado, and Idaho.
Contact Archangel Catholic to inquire about therapy. Please specifically request James Walther so the team can direct your inquiry to me.
Which Service Fits Your Needs?
The presenting concern alone does not necessarily determine whether coaching or therapy is the better fit. We also consider your goals, the relationship’s needs, and the scope of care required.
Coaching emphasizes focused work on specific sexual difficulties. Marriage and sex therapy addresses the relationship, its patterns, and the effects of those difficulties.
If you are unsure where to begin, shoot me a message on our contact page. We can discuss which service best fits your situation.
